Parents as Partners
We use ‘Tapestry’ as our online learning journals where you can view any of your child’s observations. Remember you can contribute too via the app with photos and videos which will support our planning and assessment.
This half term, we will continue with our topic ‘Amazing Animals’. We will use the books: Rumble in the Jungle, Giraffes Can’t Dance, We’re going on a Lion Hunt, Animal Boogie and Handa’s Surprise, as a focus for a study of animals from hot places. We will explore their similarities and differences. We will also enjoy songs, poems and stories about animals.
The children love to learn outdoors and we aim to be outside in all weathers! Thank you to those parents who have already provided Wellingtons for their children to keep in school. Could we ask that you ensure your child has a coat with a hood, hat, gloves and Wellingtons to ensure they can enjoy and access the outdoor provision.
