Woodbank Primary School believes that a consistent school uniform policy is vital to promote the ethos of the school and provide a sense of belonging and identity for all pupils, regardless of their protected characteristics or socio-economic circumstances. 

General Uniform for Key Stage 1

 

  • White or bottle green polo shirt
  • Grey or black trousers, shorts, knee length skirt or  pinafore
  • Bottle green jumper, fleece or cardigan
  • Sensible, plain black school shoes
  • Black or grey tights/ socks
General Uniform for Key Stage 2

 

  • White short or long sleeve shirt
  • Grey trousers, grey skirt or grey pinafore
  • School tie
  • Bottle green jumper, fleece or cardigan
  • Sensible, plain black school shoes
  • Black or grey tights/ socks
Nursery Uniform

 

  • Nursery uniform is not compulsory, however, many of our parents prefer it as it saves using own clothes as they do like to get creative! 
  • Nursery logo is on a sweatshirt or Tshirt and worn with any comfortable bottoms such as leggings, jogging bottoms and trousers
Summer Uniform

 

  • Green and white gingham summer dress
  • Key stage 2 may wear a white or bottle green polo shirt in Summer
PE Kit

 

  • Plain white tshirt with school logo or without
  • Plain black shorts
  • Black P.E. pumps or trainers
  • For Key stage 2 outdoor PE they may wear:
  • Black or blue jogging bottoms
  • Black or blue sweatshirt or jacket
Jewellery
  • A sensible wrist watch may be worn- no smart watches
  • A pair of stud earrings may be worn- no other piercings are permitted

Lost or damaged items will not be refunded and school will not be held responsible for any injuries incurred from wearing jewellery, it is a personal responsibility.

 Hairstyles and Headwear

 

Bobbles and hair accessories should compliment the schools uniform.

  •  
  • No bright coloured dyed hair
  • No excessive hair accessories
  • No headwear with bold patterns/ colours
  • No headwear with inappropriate words or images
  • No tramlines
